"Player"
I was cleaning my closet recently and found this. It's from around 1999-2000. My hessian roots with just a sprinkle of hip hop. The multi-talented Genn Leong stitched it up for me.

"Tall Boy."
I just made this for a group show in London called Wish You Were Here. I tried to do this for Jason Dill's company Fucking Awesome around 2000, but he wanted to steer clear of graf related graphics so I slept on it till now. The graphic he did use was recently featured in a double page spread for a brief history of Fucking Awesome in the Mike Vallely issue of the Skate Book, but I'm not sure if I'll ever post it because it's kinda gnarly and I wouldn't be surprised if someone kills me for it someday.

I've been carving skateboards since 1999. Inspired by my love for skateboarding and trips to Hawai'i, my goal was to create boards that were made by a lost ancient Polynesian skate tribe. The first one I carved was for a group show in 1999 called Heroes and Villains, curated by Jason Dill at Dactyl gallery, it was also featured in Art Forum magazine.
